Depart for Halong Bay in an air-conditioned vehicle. Arrive in Halong around 12:30pm. The crew welcomes you on board the CLASSIC SAIL. Enjoy welcome drink, check-in to your cabin. Lunch with fresh seafood is served at 1:30pm, start a 3.5 hours cruise into mystic Halong Bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations: But Moc islet, Cap De islet, Trong (Drum) cave, floating fishing village, with its unique way of life. Then head to Me Cung Cave, strolling around the cave before enjoy swimming, sun bathing at Ti Top beach or climb the peak of the mountain for a breath-taking panorama view of Halong bay. Day 2: Ha Long Cruise – Hanoi (B,L)
Early risers can enjoy a morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee with light breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay. After breakfast take 40 minutes walking around Sung Sot Cave – one of the biggest and most beautiful in Ha Long Bay then head to cruising to Luon Cave. At 10:30 boat starts cruising back to the jetty while brunch is served from 10:30 to 11:30. We continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Board arrives at habour by 12:00 for the drive back to Hanoi.

We depart from the capital at 8 :30 am for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will be met by captain and cruise and transferred to Indochina Sail Cruise .Welcome on board of Indochina Sai and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Itinerary :

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong (L, D)

This morning we will be met at the lobby of the hotel and transfer to Halong Bay. On the way we will stop at Sao Do town at a Handicraft farm that main workers are handicraft people. We will have a short break for relax with tea, coffee or walk around. After that we continue on transferring to Halong city. At midday, we arrive at Halong Bay pier where we will check in our deluxe junk. Welcome drink will be served by our friendly staff. The cruise will start the journey around the Halong Bay with the first stop at Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave. While we are cruising, our delicious lunch will be served. Getting up a little bit early today to do morning exercise and enjoy sunrise on the Bay, after that we will enjoy our breakfast at around 07:00AM. Our cruise will keep on cruising around the Bay in another part of the Bay for us to visit Bai Tu Long Bay, Con Coc island, Con Rong island, fishing village, Bai Tho Mountain and Hon Gai surroundings… At 11:00 we will enjoy the last meal on the boat and we will leave the junk at around 12:00. Our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to Hanoi. Our trip will be ended at around 04:00 in the afternoon.

Day 1 : Hanoi – Ba Be lake (250 km).
Departure from Hanoi at 08:00 and drive to Ba Be National Park. On the way we make several stops wherever you want to take photos and visit sightseeing places and villages along the way. We also pay a visit to the Thai Nguyen Minority and Culture Museum where we can learn something about the culture and traditions of the different minority groups in Vietnam. We have lunch on the way in a local restaurant. We arrive in Ba Be lake late in the afternoon and will have dinner and stay overnight with a local Tay minority family in their traditional wooden stilt house.

Day 2 : Ba Be lake boat trip.
After breakfast, we are going on a boat trip for about 4 hours to visit Ba Be lake. On the way we stop at Dau Dang waterfall and the impressive giant Poong grotto with hundreds of bats.We take our lunch Ba Be lake in a Tay village.In the National Park you can discover spectacular high waterfall, rivers, deep valleys, natural caves and small lakes. Steep mountains surround the lakes up to 1.745 m high. In the afternoon you have the possibility to go on a short trek with our guide to one of the small Tay villages scattered around the lakes on the land. Dinner and stay overnight in the same homestay at Ba Be Lake.

Day 3 : Ba Be Lake – Hanoi.

Breakfast at 07:00, after that we or relax on the junk or keep on kayaking one or two hours more. Around 10:00 we pack our luggage and take out of our cabin (for crew members prepare rooms for coming passengers). Our lunch today will be served sooner than usual as we will return to the main harbor at around midday. We then transfer to our awaiting vehicle for around 3 hour driving back to Hanoi. We will be back our capital city at about 03:30PM.

I have never tried rock climbing before I came to Ha Long Bay. I was looking for a Ha Long Bay tour on the internet and I accidentally passed by this website http://orientalsails.com/. They are Ha Long Bay boat operator and they are the one which has rock climbing in the tours. It looked attractive and I made a decision very quick. The tour was out of my expectation. It was totally amazing. Boat services were excellent and staff was friendly. Most of all, rock climbing was fantastic. Before climbing we had some instruction from an American guide, then we tried the easiest first. it is about 19m. after that we moved to the 21m, then 35m the hardest one.I was panic sometimes on the way up, my body was shaking Sad however I reached to top, won over myself and the view there was just like heaven. you will never forget that feeling once you were on the top of a rocky mountain on a bay.
